So, just got done looking in Rifts: Underseas and the ley lines are made up of mystical magical energy that radiates blue. They can be seen underwater. However, underwater isn't underground, obviously, but the idea of dark ley lines seems unrealistic in this Rifts World, but I am not giving up, I just need a really cool and awesome idea, which just popped in my head while writing this line about how maybe the dark ley lines occur underground because of some sort of mineral or element that absorbs this magical energy and releases a different kind of energy, still P.P.E, but black. Maybe the mineral is blue because it absorbs the color from the ley lines leaving an absence of color, which to all means black, but I'm pretty sure you all knew that. Anyways, this idea could bring fruition to an already awesome idea along with new weapons made from this material by some underground D-Bee as yet unrecorded by almost all researchers since it has a definite aversion to the sun's infrared rays. Maybe this mineral also glows that eerie blue light of the ley lines. Perhaps supersaturated with the color and maybe a little magical energy. Who knows. This could be the start of something unbelieveable. Until next time, safe gaming and have fun.

New idea
So, my post in Making a Rifts Worldbook, which is in my list of blogs to the right has an idea that I need people to answer. That being said, I have some ideas on adding artifacts and relics into the mix and possible a random treasure table for Rifts. I know this would benefit Game Masters like me who like to run by the seat of my pants, but that's just me. If you also like to run by the seat of your pants, leave a comment below.
